Current issues of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Kazakhstan discussed in Ashgabat

On October 17, 2025, a meeting was held in Ashgabat between the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov and Deputy Prime Minister, Head of the Government Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan Galymzhan Koishybayev.

During the meeting, the sides discussed issues of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Kazakhstan in the political-diplomatic, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian spheres.

It was noted that regular contacts at high and the highest levels contribute to the consistent development of bilateral relations.   

The parties reviewed preparations for events scheduled to be held in the current year with the participation of two countries, including the next meeting of the Turkmen-Kazakh Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Scientific, Technical, and Cultural Cooperation.

The sides highly appraised the collaboration between the two countries in regional and international formats.
