A meeting with the President of the ECO Science Foundation was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan

On April 29, 2025, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan M.Byashimova had a meeting with the President of the Science Foundation of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), Professor Seyed Komail Tayebi.

During the meeting, the parties considered priority areas of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the ECO Science Foundation.

The parties noted the importance of strengthening scientific ties and implementing joint projects in the field of science, technology and innovation to stimulate economic growth and integration in the region.

In addition, it was noted that interaction in the scientific field contributes to strengthening mutual understanding, transfer of advanced technologies and achieving common development goals.

Energy development, including renewable energy sources, research in the field of ecology and environmental protection, innovations in agriculture and water resources, digitalization and the introduction of modern IT technologies were named among the priority areas of partnership.
