Chairwoman of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan met with the President of Türkiye in Ankara

On February 25, 2025, President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan received the Chairwoman of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan Dunyagozel Gulmanova, who arrived in Ankara on a working visit.

The head of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan conveyed to the President of the Republic of Türkiye greetings and best wishes of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National Leader of Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

During the meeting, the sides noted the high level of development of interstate ties on the principles of mutual respect and trust. They discussed key aspects of bilateral ties in political, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres.

The sides reaffirmed mutual willingness to further strengthen the partnership of two countries within the framework of regional and international structures. 

At the end of the meeting, the head of the Republic of Türkiye was handed an invitation on behalf of the leadership of Turkmenistan to the events scheduled to be held in Turkmenistan within the framework of the International Year of Peace and Trust, as well as in honor of the 30th anniversary of permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan.
