Turkmenistan delegation participates in the 26th session of the General Assembly of the UN World Tourism Organization

From November 7 to 11, 2025, the delegation from Turkmenistan, headed by the Minister of Culture Atageldi Shamyradov, is participating in the 26th session of the General Assembly of the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), which is being held in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

More than 160 delegations from around the world are participating in the event.

The session will discuss key areas of development for the tourism industry, including the introduction of digital and innovative solutions, the expansion of international cooperation, and the promotion of sustainable and inclusive tourism.

This year's main theme is «AI-Powered Tourism: Redefining the Future» emphasizing the role of artificial intelligence in shaping the new architecture of global tourism.
