Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Meets With Representatives of German Companies
The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, met with the General Director of Edison Technologies, Vice President for Sales of Teamteshniсk, Sales Manager of Reifenhäuser, the official Turkmen media reported on Tuesday.
The meeting took place during the Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan's working trip to the city of Arkadag. The purpose of the trip was for the Chairman to familiarize himself with the projects of various purpose facilities planned for construction in the second phase of development. This meeting provided an opportunity to discuss and review the plans and progress of these upcoming facilities in Arkadag.
During the meeting, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan, highlighted the establishment of an appropriate legislative framework and the implementation of necessary measures to facilitate the productive engagement of foreign business people. As part of Turkmenistan's industrialization program until 2030, there are plans to construct industrial complexes throughout the country, offering opportunities for German partners to participate. The second phase of the new city's development also includes the construction of industrial complexes, aligning with the country's goals of industrialization, job creation, and the production of essential goods. These initiatives aim to drive economic growth and support the industrial development of Turkmenistan.
The German delegation, representing a consortium of 20 German companies, expressed interest in long-term cooperation with Turkmenistan. The delegation noted that they would be honoured to participate in constructing a complex to produce medical equipment in the city of Arkadag. The heads of large companies also discussed the possibilities of training specialists for the planned production complexes.
At the end of the meeting, both parties expressed their contentment with the progress of the Turkmen-German cooperation, which encompasses various fields of collaboration. Additionally, during the visit, the National Leader of the Turkmen people inspected the construction materials for a new mosque in the city of Arkadag and gained familiarity with the project plans. Spanning an area of 12.9 hectares, the mosque's construction will incorporate the latest methods and adhere to best practices. Furthermore, the National Leader also acquainted himself with the designs of other facilities, such as the upcoming Saglyk Park, and gained insight into the diverse array of tree species planted within the park.
The projects of the administrative building of the Gorjav district, museum, Health House, car complex and registration point, railway station, fire-fighting service, residential houses of high comfort, and sketches of unique signs of the football team Arkadag were also presented.
